Each varietal is inspired by a true story of rebellion in California’s early history. Each bottle tells the story through unique label art featuring real gold foil. The hand-drawn seal on the label commemorates the moments of pure independence that still inspire people today. Zinfandel, Cabernet, and EUREKA!RED – all three wines reveal bold, complex flavors, and they are all inspired by those who stood their ground and took the first steps toward founding the state of California. Zinfandel represents the story of independence; Cabernet inspired by the California gold rush; Eureka! Red celebrates California’s first constitution. All three wines are sourced from Sonoma’s premier vineyards, crafted by acclaimed Sonoma native winemaker Aaron Piotter, who has a deep connection to California history. Aaron was born and raised less than a mile from the Bear Flag Revolt. Growing up so close to where the state was founded provides him inspiration for crafting wines as bold and layered as the state’s defining moments. In his word: “As a winemaker and California native, I’m honored to create wines that deliver an experience as layered as the historical events that inspired them.” Each bottle is wrapped in heritage and filled with liquid gold.
